In 2008, she began her nursing studies, earning her Associate Degree in Nursing in 2011 and becoming a registered nurse. Johnnie advanced her education and clinical expertise, graduating with her BSN from King University in 2013 and her MSN from Purdue University in 2017, achieving highest honors. As a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), she completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2023 with a stellar GPA of 3.98, reflecting her unwavering dedication. Her clinical experience includes trauma ER, ICU, spine and joint care, medical-surgical units, and cross-departmental support from 2010 to 2018. Since 2018, she has served as a primary and acute care FNP at UVA Health, continuing to impact patients’ lives positively. In 2025, Johnnie expanded her practice scope to aesthetic medicine, becoming a certified nurse injector for Botox and dermal fillers, and in 2026, she also earned the title of Facial Specialist.
